Coach Charles "Cort" Radford
Coach Radford took the helm of the CHASE football program in January, 2018. His vision for the program is to put a product on the field that is competitive and enjoyable to watch on Friday nights.
Coach Radford has amassed a strong coaching pedigree in his 8 years in the profession. He graduated from A.C. Reynolds High School then moved on to Appalachian State University where he was a student assistant for the football program. Post college he has worked and coached at Bunn High School, Ewrin High School, Smokey Mountain High School, moved into the Defensive Coordinator at Crest High School, and now at CHASE High School. In his first year at the helm of the Trojans, Coach Radford amassed a 4 - 7 record and winning the first county game in six years. The turn around this season led him to be recognized as a Carolina Panther Coach of the Week for NC and SC.
Coach Radford has been married to his wife Casey for 7 years and they have two children, Anna (3) and Charlie (1)

Our support staff at CHASE high football keep the show running. Without them, our job would be impossible. From keeping our athletes on the field and healthy, fixing equipment issues, to getting film uploaded and broken down, these staff are invaluable to our efforts as a team.
